Advanced Training
The Advanced Training modules are aimed at two focus areas, Rescue from Heights and First Aid. The aims and objectives of these modules are to ensure an injury-free work environment and reduce any risks for technicians and personnel in the wind industry.
The advanced rescue training courses consists of four modules:
1. Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue (HSIBR)
2. Nacelle, Tower and Basement Rescue (NTBR)
3. Single Rescue: Hub, Spinner and Inside Blade Rescue (SR:NTBR)
4. Single Rescue: Nacelle, Tower and Basement Rescue (SR:NTBR)
Upon completion of these modules’ candidates will be able to perform a rescue of an injured person from the Hub and Nacelle, Tower and Basement section. Practical exercises are performed in teams and as a single rescue. Real life scenarios are used to advance the skills and knowledge of the candidates and prepare them for any situation.
